Overview

RhynoCare provides virtual and mobile healthcare services across Ontario, connecting patients with healthcare professionals from the comfort of their homes — seven days a week. Using integrated technology, RhynoCare delivers comprehensive virtual, at-home, and mobile care options to the communities they serve.

The Challenge

RhynoCare's original SaaS platform, built by an overseas vendor, served as a rough MVP but struggled with stability, usability, and scalability. They needed a complete rewrite — not just improvements — using modern technologies that could support their growth, security standards, and long-term vision.

The Solution

We partnered with RhynoCare to rebuild their platform from the ground up:

  • Designed and developed a custom EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system tailored to their workflows.
  • Built the application using a Remix backend and a React frontend for maximum performance and flexibility.
  • Created a new, user-friendly UI/UX design, giving the platform a modern, intuitive look and feel.
  • Integrated secure video technology for patient-provider communication.
  • Implemented a fax solution, enabling providers to send prescriptions directly to pharmacies.
  • Built a calendar and reminder system with automated email and SMS notifications.
  • Developed a custom authentication system to tightly control access and security.

The Result

The new platform allowed for a seamless transition from the old system to the new — with major improvements in performance, security, and user experience:
